Here is an actual debate question with none of my input: Should we keep subsidies for oil, get rid of energy subsidies, or transfer those subsidies for alternative and renewable energy uses?

No one people or coroporation should rely on welfare!
ReplyDeleteFree market sometimes does not know what is best. We can go through all the numbers and various statistics, but alternative and renewable energy is the key for our energy future.
ReplyDeleteI do agree though welfare should be way way way back, only reaching out to those in extreme medical conditions that have proven that there is no other option of payments. Other than that, cut SS, Medis, and welfare. There is over $1 trillion in savings right there.
